Meet the Trainers

Ricky Buoncore

Owner | Director of Fitness

Ricky Buoncore is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University. He has been involved in the fitness industry since 2010 as a trainer, fitness director and club manager. The positive energy he brings to work with each client is directed towards both physical and mental wellness. He specializes in core muscle development, functional strength, flexibility and range of motion.

Prior to his time at Trilogy, Ricky was the Head Track & Field Coach at Aurora High School, his alma mater where he was also an All-Ohio Track Athlete.

Armando Arellano II

Wellness Coordinator

Armando Arellano II is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist with dual Bachelors in Exercise Science and Health Promotion and Education from Baldwin Wallace University, and Masters of Education in Exercise Science at Cleveland State University. He has been working in the fitness field since 2011 as an assistant coach, group exercise instructor and traveling health coach. He specializes in small group training from HIIT to Core Classes, and corporate health coaching and wellness programming.

Armando currently teaches Exercise Science at Cleveland State University, and also is a Men's Physique competitor, having competed in several events and has taken an overall title. His overall experience in health and wellness can help you reach your goals.

Megan Landean

Wellness Coordinator

Megan Landean received her Bachelor's of Science from Kent State University in Exercise Science. She also has her Masters of Education in Exercise Science from Cleveland State University. Megan's thesis was on the Relationship Between Vitamin D and Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor on Risk for Falls in Individuals with Multiple Sclerosis, leading her to have plenty of experience in balance and core strength. Megan has taught a variety of exercise classes including bootcamps, cardio and weight training classes. As a graduate assistant at Cleveland State, Megan gained experience working closely with the faculty and staff corporate wellness programs. She also currently teaches nutrition at Cleveland State University.

Megan loves staying active, whether that's kayaking, running, or weight lifting. This has facilitated her being able to help anyone achieve their health and fitness goals doing what they love.

Jason Kouvaras

Certified Personal Trainer

Jason Kouvaras is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also holds several other certifications, including CSCS, ACSM HFI, and CrossFit Level 1. Originally from Boardman, Ohio, Jason had been in the fitness industry for over 21 years. He was a staple at The Club at Key, before opening K2 Fitness, so it was an easy decision to join Trilogy and return to his long time home in fitness back at Key Center. Jason specializes in high intensity training, programming for weight loss, strength, rehabilitation, progressive flexibility training, group boot camps, and sports specific training. As a graduate of Baldwin Wallace, he also played Div III college football BWU 92'-96'.

Jason has a passion for helping people through fitness to achieve their goals. You can expect him to go above and beyond your personal expectations when working with him. `Push yourself to achieve goals that may seem unreachable.'

Mark Kelly

Certified Personal Trainer

Mark Kelly is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist, and PN Certified Nutrition Coach. He has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Mount Union. During college Mark played football and was an AAU Junior Olympics weightlifting champion.

Mark has been involved in the fitness industry for nearly 20 years. He spent most of that time as personal trainer at The Club at Key Center. ‚Äč

Mark loves helping busy professionals find time for healthy habits so they can look great, feel great, and be even more productive at work and at home. He believes you can get the body you want without feeling deprived, and that fitness can be built into your life without taking it over.

Alyssa Chase

Certified Personal Trainer

Alyssa is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer who believes in taking care of your body both physically and mentally. She's inspired to be the guiding strength to reach your goals and help you become your best self.

Alyssa has competed in numerous bodybuilding competitions, including finishing in the top 10 of the Arnold Classic amateur competition & also becoming a Nationally Qualified competitor. Loves music, playing guitar, and walks with her dog Copeland.
